FLIPPED CLASSROOM
Hi, in this writing I want to talk about flipped classroom system as much as I can.
As everyone knows, our education system is based on exam system. Thats why students are bored in classes and their learning speeds different from each others. However our system is ignoring this important thing.
While thinking a better education system, we come across flipped classroom. We can say flipped classroom is a reversal of traditional classes. Things and rules in this system are quite different from traditional classrooms.
▶ The most important thing is this, the focus is on the teacher in traditional system but the focus is on the student in flipped classroom system.
As I said before, every student’s learning speed is different. With the help of the flipped classrooms, students can learn at their own learning speeds. Teacher makes videos by explaining subjects and send them to students or share on a platform. Then students watch these. Flipped classrooms also provides students opportunity to learn everywhere. They can also search topics that they don’t understand from the internet and learn more information.
▶ For they learning lessons in their homes, they have more opportunities to do different activites, discuss and be more creative in class.
In traditional system, students usually just come school, listen classes and go back to home. Also when they go back to home, they have some difficulties in uderstanding what they do while doing homework.
▶ Flipped classrooms provides activiness in classroom.
All students in flipped classroom are active. In traditional classrooms generally 7 or 8 students are active and others are passive. So we can prevent this with flipped classrooms.
Also students gain teamwork skills whis is increasingly important with flipped classroom system.
To sum up, with the help of the flipped classroms,
